Dear Pharmily,

Now that Rag 2010 has come to a closure, the NUSPS Rag Committee 2010 would like to take this opportunity to thank the professors, seniors, freshies, batch mates and all other persons who have helped out in Rag in one way or another.

Thank you all for being such good mentors, advisors, encouragers and helpers. We are really grateful for all the assistance that had been rendered, from the invaluable advice to all the manual labor provided.

We thank you for sharing this whole journey with us, from non-competing to competing, from having a fat and friendly dragon to a fierce and majestic one. Although we didn?t win awards this year, rest assured that we will come back next year even stronger and better and will, one day, do Pharmacy proud.

Once again, a great big thank you from the depths of our hearts to one and all for all the help and for showing the Pharmily spirit.

Dear Pharmers,

As we are going in to the last day of preparation for Rag, I am appealing to all Pharmacy seniors to come down and help out with doing the float for tomorrow. The float still has a lot of touch-up to be done and as all work will have to stop by 10pm tomorrow, there’s not a lot of time left for the Rag Comm to work with. Get your friends to come down to the tentage and work on the float together for one last day!

Together, I believe that Pharmacy can achieve a lot as cohesive unit and hopefully win an award in this year’s Rag! Here’s a big THANK YOU in advance!

Hey Pharmers,

I am pleased to share with everyone here a piece of good news: Pharmacy Rag will be competing for awards in this year’s Rag! This is very important as this year’s Rag will be held in conjunction with the arrival of the YOG torch and there will be international coverage for this year’s Rag. It is indeed fortunate that we are granted this competing status. I hereby urge everyone to come down to the tentage at the carpark near the old Computing Block to help out with the Pharmacy Float. Rag Day will be on this Friday and Pharmacy will be performing at around 4pm. Please do come down on Rag Day to show your support as well.

I sincerely hope that all of us can go down to show NUS how united Pharmacy students are on Rag Day and cheer your hearts out for our performance! Thank you and see you on Friday!

Dear Pharmily,

This is an announcement from 2010 Pharmacy Rag committee.

As the 2010 Pharmacy Rag Team moves full steam ahead in preparation for the Float and Dance preparations, we would once again like to appeal for donations of any unwanted/waste materials.

These donated materials will go a long way in helping the Rag team build the Float and also help in cutting cost of construction.

Materials that we are looking for include:
Newspaper, magazines, Cardboard boxes, paint brushes, plastic bottles, drink cans, etc.

Hi fellow pharmers!

We are entering the most important period of our university year. Yes, it’s the extended break!
That aside, Pharmacy is yet again taking part in Flag 2010. We are competitive this year and really need your help.

Date: 3rd August 2010, Tuesday
Time: 7AM-5PM tentatively
Role: Requesting donations from the public
For those who are interested, all you have to do is to fill in your details here.

Also, due to the overwhelming weight of the many donation cans involved, we do need a form of transport to ferry the cans in between Yusof Ishak Hall and Science Fac before and after the event. If you happen to be in school during the duration of FOC and drive a vehicle, pls give this a thought and email us back.

All volunteers will be awarded CCA points. Flagging is a 1 day event and wouldn’t take too much of your time, so please do consider helping out!

NUS Pharmacy Flag Day 2010

Hello!

The Rag Commitee is currently running various fundraising activities in preparation for our very own Pharmacy RAG 2010. As such we’ll be selling self-designed button badges as well as chocolates and candies from The Cocoa Trees!

Please refer to the bottom of this post for the list of chocolates & gummies that we’ll be selling, as well as the designs of the  badges. All are sold at very friendly prices, even below the retailing prices. So it’s definitely very worth it to get some to survive those boring lectures and at the same supporting our very own Pharmacy RAG.You are also more than welcomed to get your friends and families to buy some too!  An order list will be passed down during your lectures this coming few days and please fill up accordingly if you wish to order. Alternatively, you may drop us an email at ; with your orders. The first round of orders will end next thursday, 25 March and payments also have to be made by then as well to the following people: Meijun for Year1, Valerie for Year2, Alvin for Year 3. For year 4s, there will be forms at the PS room to place your order and you can look for Meijun on 22nd and 25th march at the PS room from 12pm to 3pm for your payment.

We’ll also be selling self-designed button badges that help identify you as a proud student of Pharmacy! All badges are sold at $3/- and you may choose between the two designs as attached. Order list will also be passed down during your lectures and please indicate accordingly should you wish to purchase.
